Club Benefits
The NJWRC has many benefits to offer, and the following are a few of the
features you will receive when you complete the applications
at the bottom of the page.

Guidebook
As a new member of the club, you will receive a very informative guidebook which
details  information on the care, breeding, showing and raising of the Jersey Wooly.
You will also find information inside covering the National Jersey Wooly Rabbit Club.
This is a free benefit for all new members, or may be purchased for a small charge.

Newsletter
A quarterly newsletter keeps you abreast of the latest happenings of the NJWRC. It
includes informative articles, photos, club activities, show listings and results,
sweepstakes and membership contest standings, and classified ads
Contact the Newsletter editor for information on ad prices, etc.

Assistance
Becoming a member of the NJWRC gives you a place to turn to for assistance. The club
is divided into nine regions, each represented by a district director. In addition to
being your voice on the Board of Directors, each director can assist you in many areas
of rabbit care.

Breeders' Color Registry
The Secretary of the NJWRC maintains a registry of breeders and the varieties they
raise. Simply contact the
Secretary for information on how to find stock in a particular
variety or to become a part of the registry .
(NOTE: Registry does not imply quality of stock.)

Sweepstakes Contest
The Sweepstakes Contest is a yearly event, running from July 1-June 30th of each
year. Each member accumulates points as they compete in local, regional, and national
sanctioned* shows.  Awards are presented to the top placing rabbits and breeders at
the A.R.B.A. National Convention and posted in the newsletter.
*Shows must be sanctioned by both the A.R.B.A. and NJWRC - contact our
Sweepstakes Chairperson,
Richard Gehr, for more information.

Membership Contest
A yearly membership contest provides awards for those members who recruit the most
new members. Both specialty clubs and individual members compete in seperate
contests.  So please indicate who referred you  to the club on your membership
application so they receive credit!

National Shows
The NJWRC participates in the annual ARBA Show and Convention, held in the Fall
each year.  Various clubs throughout the county bid to hold the annual National
Specialty show each spring. Both shows are held in different locations throughout the
U.S. every year and offer breeders an opportunity to attend a National show in a
region near them.
